Laurie received her BA in Physical Therapy from the College of St. Scholastica in Duluth, MN in 1988 and her MPT from the University of North Dakota in 1993.  Laurie’s background is primarily in the area of neuro-rehabilitation and chronic pain management.  This led quite easily into the concepts and philosophy of the Postural Restoration Institute.  She was introduced to PRI in 2004 by her mentor, Lori Thomsen.  She currently works at Sanford Clinic in East Grand Forks, Minnesota.  She has spent the past two years working on educating physicians and other practitioners on PRI concepts with her enthusiasm and passion for PRI.  She has also developed a strong interest in Post Trauma Vision Syndrome and has been fortunate to work with an optometrist specialized in this area in co-treating patients. In December of 2007, Laurie earned the designation of Postural Restoration Certified (PRC).
